Terms of service

Last updated October 4, 2026

These terms apply to merchants who install the InvoiceHop app for Shopify, operated by MerchMend. By installing InvoiceHop you agree to them, together with the Shopify terms that apply to apps.

The service

InvoiceHop creates invoices, credit notes and e-invoice files from your Shopify orders, using the company details, settings and wording you provide. We may improve or change features over time.

Your responsibilities

  • Make sure your company details, tax settings and legal wording are correct for your business and country.
  • Check that the documents meet your tax and accounting obligations. InvoiceHop is software, not tax or legal advice.
  • Keep copies of your documents for as long as the law requires, including after you uninstall.
  • Have a lawful basis for the customer data you process through InvoiceHop.

Plans and billing

InvoiceHop has a free plan and paid plans that differ by monthly invoice volume. Paid plans are billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the app. Charges already made aren't refunded, except where the law or Shopify's policies say otherwise.

E-invoicing networks

Sending e-invoices to a network goes through an e-invoicing provider that you choose and contract with. That provider's terms apply to the delivery. We aren't responsible for the provider's service.

Availability and liability

We work to keep InvoiceHop available and accurate, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or tax penalties.

Ending the service

You can stop using InvoiceHop by uninstalling it. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. Data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
